Adriano Candiago, born in Argentina, is an Italian director and screenwriter who graduated with a degree in film directing in 2013 from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. He has worked as an assistant director for Daniele Luchetti and Claudio Giovannesi, while simultaneously developing his own projects in both film and television. He co-wrote *Le città di pianura*, which was presented in competition in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival and won eight David di Donatello awards, including Best Original Screenplay and Best Casting. He is currently working on his first animated feature film. Alongside his filmmaking work, he teaches screenwriting and directing.
