Leandro Picarella is a director, editor and screenwriter. Between 2010 and 2014 he wrote and directed his first short films and some short documentaries. In 2015 Triokala, his first feature film, won awards at numerous festivals in Italy and abroad. For several years now, he has been working as a teacher, tutor and external collaborator at schools of various levels and at the Experimental Centre of Cinematography. He is one of the founders of Qoomoon, a film production company set up in Sicily in 2017. Segnali di vita is his third film.

Itinerary description: from the Bersaglio locality, drive up to the car park at Lake Durigal; from there, follow a forest road towards Malga Tassulla, and then take an easy path to the Forcola pass, a panoramic viewpoint over Pian della Nana and Sasso Rosso. The return is along the same route.
