Alessandro Cristofoletti is a photographer and writer who grew up between Trentino and South Tyrol. His work explores landscapes, communities, and regions through a narrative approach that combines photography and writing. His career began in 2012 with a storytelling project right here in the Adamello Brenta Park. Since then, he has traveled over 9,000 km along Italy's land border, documented the transformations of the Swedish Arctic, and chronicled the Dolomites through the Dolomites Stories project. His work has been published in international publications and exhibited at festivals and cultural institutions in Italy and abroad.

Route description: After leaving State Road 239, we will resume the entirely downhill route once traveled by Emperor Franz Ferdinand.

We will follow the course of the Meledrio stream, which flows through the valley of the same name all the way to Dimaro. Evergreen forests dominated by silver and red firs provide the ideal habitat for iconic animal species such as the capercaillie.
