Doriano, known as Dori, and Carlobianchi (one name) are drinking buddies in rural Veneto, which feels like the Wild West. Their goal in life is to stuff themselves with snails and polenta and drink the last drop of wine: 'a craving that goes beyond thirst.' They believe in the legend that their friend Genio has hidden a small fortune made from the illegal sale of sunglasses. Along the way, they meet Giulio, a shy and insecure architecture student, who joins their journey and learns to live for the moment-but not without a temporary mission-just as they have always done. Winner of 8 David di Donatello Awards, including Best Film and Best Director.
