Against the backdrop of the Brenta Open, three people with different stories and physiques find a collective and spiritual experience in climbing the Dolomites. The documentary follows the daily lives and athletic training of Kevin Ferrari, Nicolle Boroni, and Gianluigi Rosa, culminating in a group climb. Alternating interviews with the three athletes with archival footage and immersive shots, the ascent and the mountain are not merely a sporting achievement but take on the significance of a shared space of listening, dominated by exertion, silence, and gestures of solidarity.
In this dialogue between man and nature, the summit represents not only the crowning achievement of the climb, but also challenges us to question whether the limits we believe we have are truly insurmountable.
