Filming, scoring, editing, and self-producing a documentary that portrays Nepal not as the home of the Himalayas, but as the home of the Nepalese people. There are many things that can be said about Nepal: that it is a country celebrated for its incredible natural beauty that draws tourists from all over the world; that it is a poor country, with sanitation conditions, a political system, and a road network that are in dire need of improvement; that it is a country with a dark past, a present full of shadows, and a future with great glimmers of light. And, however well-founded these narratives may be, what makes the difference is the dignity in the eyes of the beholder, the dignity in the voice of the storyteller.
In case of inclement weather, the event will take place at Palazzo Lodron Bertelli in Caderzone
All screenings begin at 9:15 PM; they are free with reservations, subject to availability.
