Sunday, July 5 - Val Meledrio Ecomuseum, Le Fosinace | Dimaro
Tonight's screening will feature Ciclo-Cinema, an innovative and sustainable project that actively involves the audience.
The electricity needed to power the screening is provided directly by the audience, who are tasked with pedaling on special bicycles for the entire duration of the show to generate energy.
Documentary in original language with subtitles | United Kingdom | 2023 | 75'
Directed by David Allen
Based on the book of the same name by Isabella Tree, the documentary tells the true story of a couple who decide to abandon intensive farming to restore their land, the Knepp estate (in West Sussex, England), launching Europe's largest rewilding project. The undertaking will be arduous and exhausting, but ultimately successful: thanks to the restoration of biodiversity and a mix of wild and domestic animals, the estate will be reborn as a sort of natural sanctuary.
In case of inclement weather, the event will take place at the Dimaro Theater
All screenings begin at 9:15 PM; they are free with reservations, subject to availability.
