Vincenzo Venuto is a biologist, science populariser, author and television presenter. He holds a degree in Biological Sciences and a PhD in Natural and Environmental Sciences. In 2006, he was chosen as anchorman, author and scientific consultant for Missione Natura on LA7. In June 2013, he hosts the programmes Alive - Stories of survivors and Life - Man and Nature on Rete 4. Since autumn 2019 he has been hosting Melaverde together with Ellen Hidding on Channel 5.
