Jerzy Kukuczka was one of the strongest climbers in the history of mountaineering. He climbed the eight-thousanders seventeen times. His eighteenth expedition was unfortunately also his last: in October 1989 he lost his life on the South Face of Lhotse. The film is a biography constructed from rare unpublished material and offers a glimpse into the life of mountaineering in the 1970s and 1980s.
in the event of bad weather, the event will take place the following day
All screenings start at 09.15 p.m. and are free of charge with reservations subject to availability.
