Twenty thousand Buddhist nuns live in a monastery on a snowy plateau in Tibet. Surrounded by harsh nature and isolated from the outside world, they give all of themselves to reach a divine state and find answers to the great questions of existence. The documentary follows their lives during the 100 coldest days of the year, amidst fundamental questions of life and death, suffering and healing, karma and consequences.
